(0870) VESSEL OF LIGHT – $650 NZD
The vintage iridescent grey and green ceramic vessel seemed destined to hold light, especially with its distinctive cutout revealing what lies within. Paired with a beautiful ribbed glass globe and perched on a vintage camera tripod, the piece brings together ceramic, glass and metal in an unexpected combination. Different materials, forms and histories find a new purpose together — transforming a collection of once-unrelated objects into something both sculptural and functional.
