(0778) DECO CLOCK – $1400 NZD (SOLD)
This beautifully engraved 1920’s art deco object was called a ‘Sunshine Lamp’ manufactured by the Graybar Electrical Co. of New York. Made of cast iron, the lamp burned two carbon rods that would have glowed and sparked. The internal repurpose included custom fabricated sheet metal, clear acrylic door, pendulum clock and LED lighting with remote. The exterior was given a new coat of antique white paint, clear-coated, and brass knobs added for the finishing touch.
